Tasks
The Tasks module stores predefined tasks for inclusion in a procedure or work order. The tasks that are defined in the Tasks module are those that are used repeatedly, and thus benefit from being maintained in a consistent fashion. If an organization reports against the tasks, it is important that the task is listed in the exact same manner each time. The Tasks module also allows you to define groups of tasks, enabling the addition of this group of tasks to a work order or procedure in one step.
It should be noted that tasks listed in a work order or procedure are often entered free-form, and do not need to be maintained in the Tasks module. The Tasks module is available to provide a mechanism to maintain commonly used tasks and report against them.
